CGI Wins Up to $186M for State Dept Visa Support in China

CGI Federal‘s (NYSE: GIB) Stanley Associates subsidiary has won a potential $186 million State Department task order to provide business support services for U.S. visa application operations in China.

CGI said the firm-fixed-price order, worth at least $94 million, has one base year and four option years and falls under the Bureau of Consular Affairs’ 10-year Global Support Strategy contract.

Under this recent order, Stanley will provide the bureau information services, appointment services and fee collection to help process both nonimmigrant and immigrant visa applications.

The task order is the eighth the company has won under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity GSS contract, bringing the number of countries it supports for visa processing to 34.

Orders six and seven under the GSS contract, announced in June, cover visa support services in India and introduction of the program to seven countries in Europe.
