Alion Wins $183M For F-35, AF Acquisition Support

AlionLogoAlion Science and Technology has won a $183, 441, 738 U.S. Air Force contract modification to provide acquisition support to the Air Force’s secretary for acquisition and the F-35 program office.

The Defense Department said this contract involves foreign military sales agreements with Israel, Japan, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Spain.

Work will occur in Arlington, Va. through Dec. 31, 2015 and Joint Base Andrews, Md. is the contracting activity.

The company also holds a potential $542 million contract with the Navy for technical and management support services to the branch’s Team Submarine program offices.

Work covered under that contract includes engineering, logistics, program management and business and financial management support.
