TWD & Associates has acquired federal information technology contractor The Engle Group in a move to expand its offerings in IT service management, cloud computing and application development.
McLean, Va-based Engle provides IT services to federal customers including the Justice, Agriculture and Interior departments and “expands our reach into the civilian sector, ” said Larry Besterman, TWD president and CEO.
Besterman also noted Arlington, Va-based TWD intends to strengthen its presence in the defense and homeland security markets through the deal.
Engle Group has been in operation for more than 25 years and also provides the government with application security and data and organizational change management services and solutions.
“The Engle Group mirrors TWD’s dedication to highly visible customers with mission critical requirements and deadlines, ” TWD said.
