Lockheed Wins $222M Contract to Improve C-5 Reliability, Engine Performance

Lockheed Martin has won a $221, 758, 366 contract modification for the C-5 reliability enhancement and re-engining program, involving 11 aircraft.

The contract is meant to improve the engine and avionics for the C-5.

Work will be performed in Marietta, Ga., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 29, 2015.

The contracting activity is AFLCMC/WLSK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
