GE Aviation Wins $350M Contract to Improve Jet Engine Technology

GE Aviation (NYSE:GE) has won a $349, 747, 900 task order for the Adaptive Engine Technology Development Program.

Under the contract, GE is tasked with improving jet propulsion engine technologies for combat aircraft.

Work for the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract will be performed in Cincinnati, Ohio and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2016.

The contracting activity is AFRL/RQKPB, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
