The National Institutes of Health has awarded a group of small business contracts worth $500 million combined to provide communication and marketing services to government agencies, according to Washington Technology.
The five-year contract contains one base year worth $100 million and four one-year options which, if exercised, would bring the total ceiling value to $500 million.
NIH will award task orders for media, communication and information dissemination services.

In May, an NIH office awarded several large contracting firms positions on a $20 billion information technology services vehicle after previously awarding a separate $20 billion IT vehicle to a group of small businesses.
