Booz Allen Set to Issue Special $1B Cash Dividend

Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) has declared a $1 billion cash dividend to shareholders, payable Aug. 31 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 13.

According to the Washington Business Journal, the company was considering taking on new debt to finance a large shareholder dividend.

The dividend, approved by the board of directors, averages to $6.50 per share.
