SRA International Inc.will manage software releases for U.S. Transportation Command’s system for managing personal property, the company announced Monday.
Under a $17.6 million contract, the company will also provide the command with training, learning management, engineering services, configuration management, operations maintenance support, help desk and cybersecurity support.
The company will provide software upgrades over the next 18 months and helped to create the system, said Jim Curtis, vice president of defense logistics.
Transcom uses the Defense Personal Property System to support military members and Defense Department civilians during the moving process, where individuals schedule their move and track personal and household goods.
