Lockheed Martin’s (NYSE: LMT) contract to provide engineering services to the Missile Defense Agency for the Aegis Ashore program now has a maximum value of $197, 413, 781.
The Defense Department said the company’s mission systems and sensors business will continue to provide phase 2B engineering for a host nation’s skids and skids accessories until Oct. 31, 2013.
MDA will spend $6, 889, 542 in fiscal year 2012 funds for research, development test and evaluation to incrementally fund the program.
Lockheed received a $115, 508, 368 contract modification in December to provide adaptation efforts, site and transportation planning, technology initiatives and studies for Aegis Ashore.
