GTRI Wins Spot On $820M Navy COTS Production Equipment IDIQ

Global Technology Resources Inc. has won a position on a potential $820 million contract to provide the U.S. Navy with commercial-off-the-shelf products for production and integration processes.

The Defense Department said awardees will also provide the branch with support services for systems engineering, integration, large scale fabrication, non-developmental item procurement and repair and maintenance.

This contract is a small business set-aside and the Navy awarded the contract through a full and open competition via the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center e-commerce and FedBizOpps websites.

Work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will occur in Arvada, Colo., Denver, and Pawleys Island, S.C. through June 2017, if all options are exercised.

SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic in Charleston, S.C. is the contracting activity for the firm-fixed-price, multiple award supply contract.

GTRI also holds a position on a $5.6 billion government-wide contract, which NASA awarded for IT products to all federal agencies.
