CH2M Hill JV Navy Environmental Support IDIQ Now $123M

A CH2M Hill joint venture received a contract modification to provide environmental remedial action services to the U.S. Navy, increasing the contract’s total value to $123, 350, 000.

The Defense Department said the $10, 850, 000 modification is for additional work at Navy and Marine Corps installations at Naval Facilities Engineering Command Atlantic area sites.

Seventy-three percent of work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award will occur in Alaska and the rest will occur in Florida and Mississippi.

The Pentagon expects the work to finish by March 2013 and the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Atlantic in Norfolk, Va. is the contracting activity.

Another CH2M Hill joint venture, CH2M Hill Polar Services, holds a $325 million contract to provide procurement and inventory management for a National Science Foundation research program in the Arctic region.
