KGS Wins Spot On Lockheed $255M Pentagon HR Contract Team

KGS will continue to provide software development and help desk support to the Defense Department as part of a Lockheed Martin-led contract team, the company announced Wednesday.

This award is a re-compete of an existing contract, under which KGS provided services to Lockheed as a subcontractor.

Lockheed holds a $254.7 million contract to provide provide maintenance and operational support services for the Pentagon’s human resources system, covering 800, 000 civilians.

KGS’ period of performance is for three base years and five option years and the company will analyze databases and applications for the Pentagon’s enterprise HR application.

Associates based in San Antonio will perform contract work.

The Fairfax, Va.-based technology services firm will also serve as primary subcontractor on a $715 million Department of Veterans Affairs task order awarded to Systems Made Simple for data center consolidation and management services.
