SAIC Inc. (NYSE: SAI) has won a $32.8 million contract to support Air Force intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions.
The Defense Department said work will would support the distributed common ground system mission of the Air Force’s 480th ISR Wing.
Work under the firm-fixed-price, time-and-material contract will occur at Langley Air Force Base, Va.
The Pentagon expects work to finish by May 30, 2014 and the Air Force’s ISR agency in San Antonio is the contracting activity.
SAIC named Linda Howard senior vice president and deputy business unit general manager of the homeland and civilian solutions business unit last week.
The former Unisys government contracting executive is responsible for maintaining customer relationships in her new position.
