Report: CSC Wins $651M to Manage UK Veteran Pensions

Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) has won a $651 million contract to manage pensions for British military veterans, the Sunday Times reports.

In March, the Falls Church, Va.-based information technology contractor signed a letter of intent with the country’s health department, establishing a framework for a future contract to support the U.K. healthcare system.

The company said the letter defined how it would provide healthcare services in the Northern, Eastern and Midlands regions of England.

CSC also holds a potential $297 million contract with the state of Maryland to manage that state’s system of tracking Medicaid claims and patients.

That contract has five base years worth $171 million and three two-year options worth nearly $125 million total.
