Former ASRC CEO Ambrose Joins KBR as North American Govt, Logistics Head

KBR has appointed former ASRC Federal CEO Richard “Rich” Ambrose president of government and logistics for the construction firm’s North American operations.

He will report to Mark Williams, group president for infrastructure, government and power.

Williams said the 30-year commercial and government sector veteran brings an understanding of the government market and experience in growing business within that sector.

The Houston-based engineering and construction company credited Ambrose with generating $900 million in revenue at ASRC’s family of companies.

Under his leadership, organizations have won the 2006 Florida Space Business Trophy and the 2007 George M. Lowe Trophy, considered NASA’s most prestigious award.

The company provides power generation to the Army’s operating bases in Afghanistan under a potential $490 million contract.
