The company has federal information technology certifications and blanket purchase agreements in place to help grow in the federal cloud market, he said in a release.
The 25-year federal and commercial sector veteran previously served as president, CEO and as a member of the board of directors at federal security provider ServerVault.
He developed the marketing strategy and assembled the executive team at that company, which was acquired by Carpathia Hosting in 2009.
Prior to ServerVault, Kraft served as president and chief operating officer for PSINet Inc.’s U.S enterprise and federal division, where he helped lead that company’s global Internet Protocol network and 17 data centers.
He also helped manage the company’s web hosting, Internet connectivity and consulting services.
Previously, he held senior sales and executive positions at MCI Communications.
