BAE Wins $55M for U.S. Attorneys Office IT Integration; Brian Mortweet Comments

BAE Systems has won $55 million in contracts to support information technology systems integration for the Executive Office for United States Attorneys, the company announced Wednesday.

The FBI awarded the company $32 million to conduct IT systems integration support work for the office.

The firm will also support EOUSA’s Office of Information Technology, Office Automation Staff on a $23 million contract originally awarded in February.

Brian Mortweet, a vice president for federal civilian solutions, said the company has provided EOUSA with IT services for more than ten years.

Under the FBI IT services contract, BAE will perform engineering services to develop, test and configure EOUSA’s local area and wide area networks.

The company will also complete systems development, security certification and engineering support for IT systems deployed at various U.S. Attorney’s offices.

The company said the contract awarded in February requires the firm to provide round-the-clock IT operations support.

BAE will provide tier 2 nationwide helpdesk support around the clock on the $23 million Network Operations Center & TechOne Services contract.

The company will additionally supply server administration, network operations, training request system support and web application testing.

BAE’s information technology cybersecurity solutions business unit will carry out work for the EOUSA IT systems integration.

BAE recently won a $49.9 million U.S. Air Force contract to provide software development engineering for intelligence information systems.
