ATF Seeking Gun Violence Location Tracking Software

Lockheed Martin ImageThe Justice Department has released a solicitation for software to help pinpoint where gun crimes are most likely to take place, NextGov reports.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives announced Thursday it is looking for a system that will help officials identify gun violence-prone areas in the U.S., U.K. and Canada.

ATF said it wants software that will display an interactive, color-coded map of communities in 200 locations.

The system should also be able to produce gun violence reports based off of trend analysis and accessible via the Internet, according to NextGov.

The Army recently released a request for proposal for a human resource pay system to integrate business processes.
