Siemens (NYSE: SI) has appointed Clay Hale senior vice president and chief financial officer for Siemens Government Technologies, the company’s federal business organization.
The 18-year company veteran will oversee all of the organization’s financial management and act as a principal driver of its business strategies and investments.
Judy Marks, President and CEO of Siemens Government Technologies, said in a release Friday that Hale brings valuable experience from multiple industry sector divisions and 25 years in corporate finance.
Hale most recently served as vice president of finance and business administration for Siemens Industry’s customer services division and led all financial and commercial aspects for the U.S. division.
Prior to joining Siemens in 1994, he worked as an accountant at Price Waterhouse and focused on manufacturing and banking.
Hale previously served as a controller for AVX Corp.’s electronics manufacturing facility in Raleigh, near where he earned a master’s degree in business administration from Duke University.
Late last year, the company appointed Daryl Dulaney CEO of the company’s infrastructure and cities sector in North America.
