SAIC Names QinetiQ, Raytheon Vet Mary Craft Mission Support Deputy GM

SAIC Inc. (NYSE: SAI) has appointed Mary Craft deputy general manager for the company’s mission support business unit, effective March 12.

Larry Hill, SAIC’s mission support general manager, said Craft’s appointment aligns with the company’s plans to grow its workforce across the commercial and federal sectors.

The mission support business unit offers provides analytical and mission support and human language services.

The McLean, Va.-based contractor said Craft brings more than 25 years of experience in the industry and intelligence sector.

This is the second major appointment SAIC announced this week, as the company named Stu Shea chief operating officer, effective as of Monday.

Shea previously was president of the company’s intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance group.

Craft previously served as senior vice president at Qinetiq North America, where she worked in that company’s Defense Department and intelligence community markets

She also served as a vice president for General Dynamics’ advanced information systems unit and as a program manager for Raytheon.
