Lockheed Wins $664M for Air Force F-22 Support

Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT) has won a $664, 400, 703 U.S. Air Force contract modification to sustain the branch’s F-22 Raptor fleet.

The Defense Department said Thursday that work will take place this calendar year.

The company will perform the work at Air Force locations in Marietta, Ga., Fort Worth, Texas, Palmdale, Calif. and Seattle.

The Pentagon expects work to finish by Dec. 31, 2012.

Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio is the contracting activity for the cost-plus-fixed-fee and cost-plus-incentive fee contract.

The Bethesda, Md.-based contractor won a $7.4 billion contract from the Air Force in November to support the Raptor fleet with upgrades and new requirements.

Wright-Patterson was the contracting activity for that not-to-exceed, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
