CSC Declares Quarterly Dividend of 20 Cents

The board of directors of Falls Church, Va.-based Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) has declared a regular quarterly dividend of 20 cents per share of common stock.

The company’s announcement indicated it will disburse the dividend on April 16 to stockholders of record at the close of the March 23 business day.

The announcement comes just more than a month after the technology contractor named Mike Lawrie to take on its president and CEO roles by the end of March.

The company said Lawrie, who most recently served as CEO of the UK-based financial services company Misys, will look to drive growth in CSC’s healthcare, cybersecurity and cloud computing portfolios.

The firm recently won a contract with the state of Maryland worth up to $297 million to operate the state’s tracking system for Medicaid patients and claims.
