Agilex Names Intel, National Security Intiative Leads

Agilex has appointed Marianne Meins as president of intelligence and defense and John Edwards as vice president of national security initiatives.

Meins will manage the company’s business defense and intelligence business operations, according to a company announcement.

Edwards will lead the programs focused on emerging technologies including analytics, smartphones and tablets to aid national security issues.

Meins previously served as senior vice president for national security initiatives at Secure Mission Solutions in addition to vice president and general manager for the company’s systems engineering and security sector business.

Before SMS, she worked as director of engineering for General Dynamics’ division for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.

Agilex also appointed John Edwards as vice president for national security initiatives.

Agilex was recently ranked 19th on the CRN Fast Growth 100 list as it reported growth at a rate of 207.63 percent between 2008 and 2010.
