Northrop Wins $66M on $920M IDIQ for Air Force Targeting Pods

Northrop Grumman Corp. (NYSE: NOC) has won two U.S. Air Force follow on contracts worth $66 million total for advanced targeting pods, Northrop announced Monday.

Northrop originally won a $920 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract in 2010 to provide LITENING SE pods, which use sensor, laser imaging and data link technology.

Northrop and the Air Force recently completed testing of the pods on the F-16 Block 40/50 and A-10C aircraft during a qualification and evaluation flight test program.
