Northrop Wins $158M for Hawkeye Long Lead Materials

The U.S. Navy has awarded Northrop Grumman Corp. (NYSE: NOC) a $157, 942, 000 contract to provide long lead materials for Hawkeye aircraft, the Pentagon announced Wednesday.

Northrop will also provide related support for full-rate production of five Hawkeye aircraft.

Work expected to be completed by March 2013 and the Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
