GSA Creating Professional Services Contract Vehicle

The U.S. General Services Administration is preparing a new governmentwide contract vehicle for agencies to acquire professional services.

Mary Davie, assistant commissioner of the Federal Acquisition Service‘s integrated technology services office, said Tuesday that GSA is preparing to propose the Integrations contract vehicle to the Office of Management and Budget.

Davie said Integrations is a strategic program that would allow agencies to acquire complex integrated professional services and technology support.

Davie said Integrations will be similar to GSA’s other governmentwide acquisition contracts.

FAS Commissioner Steven Kempf signed the internal business case for Integrations.

GSA said it will establish a name for the program, allocate resources and finalize the OMB business case in the coming weeks and months.

GSA will also post drafts of the proposed vehicle for industry feedback.
