GDIT, SAIC Win Spots on $50M Navy Medical R&D IDIQ

SAIC (NYSE: SAI) and General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business unit have won positions on a potential $49.9 million U.S. Navy medical research and development contract.

In separate announcements, SAIC and GDIT said they will support investigational research programs under the five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite delivery contract.

Contractors will compete for task orders to perform work.

Work for the Navy’s bureau of medicine and surgery’s military treatment facilities includes:

  • operational and medical R&D services
  • clinical investigation programs
  • biomedical science
  • data collection projects
  • scientific literature reviews
