CACI Names Lockheed Vet John Mengucci US Operations COO; Daniel Allen Comments

CACI International Inc. (NYSE: CACI) has appointed John Mengucci chief operating officer for U.S. operations, CACI announced Wednesday.

Mengucci will oversee CACI’s four main business groups: mission systems, enterprise technologies and services, national solutions and transformation solutions.

Daniel Allen, CACI president of U.S. operations, said Mengucci’s appointment aligns with the company’s core growth markets and ambition regarding emerging markets.

Mengucci previously served as president of Lockheed Martin’s (NYSE: LMT) civil product line for Lockheed’s information systems and global solutions business unit.

Mengucci led the Lockheed group’s working relationships with federal clients including the FBI, NASA,  Federal Aviation Administration and the departments of Homeland Security and Justice.

Mengucci also oversaw investments in health, energy and financial markets.

Mengucci also has served as president of defense within information systems and global solutions.

In this position, Mengucci led execution and growth of a business area that provided:

  • intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance
  • command and control
  • data fusion
  • IT solutions and services
