Boeing Wins $48M to Provide Navy Aircraft Engineering, Software Integration

The U.S. Navy has awarded Boeing (NYSE: BA) a $48, 078, 874 contract modification to provide engineering services and software integration for F/A-18 and EA-18 G aircraft, the Pentagon announced Tuesday.

Boeing will also provide information systems, technical data updates and logistics support. The award modifies a previous delivery order for engineering services.

Work is expected to be completed by December 2012. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
