ManTech Appoints New Cyber SVP, GM; Bill Varner Comments

ManTech International Corp. (NASDAQ: MANT) has appointed Mark Chadason as senior vice president and general manager of the company’s cyber and security operations business unit, the company announced Wednesday.

ManTech said Chadason will be responsible for security support and the special military programs business area. Chadason joined ManTech in 2009 as a corporate risk officer.

The company said Chadason is a CIA veteran with more than two decades of experience working with the U.S. military and intelligence community.

“Mark’s transition from government to industry has been exemplary, ” said Bill Varner, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s mission, cyber and technology solutions group. “I am confident that Mark will continue to demonstrate the leadership he has already shown in his previous role in MCTS as well as in his government service, and lead us to even greater success in the future.”

ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) hosted a retirement party for Bill Varner, outgoing president of the Herndon, Virginia-based information technology services contractor’s mission, cyber and intelligence solutions group. Varner, who is also an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2017, will retire by the end of December after an eight-year career at ManTech. Kevin Phillips, president and chief
