Lockheed Wins $66M to Help Relocate Army Health Research Lab

The U.S. Army has awarded Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) a $66 million contract to support the relocation of the Army’s Research Institute of Infectious Diseases, Lockheed announced Tuesday.

Under the six-year contract, Lockheed’s global training and logistics business unit will help transition personnel and equipment to the new 835, 000-square foot facility at Fort Detrick, Md.
