Boeing Wins $693M to Provide Air Force C-17 Aircraft

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) a $693, 373, 638 delivery order modification for five C-17 cargo aircraft, the Pentagon announced Monday.

Boeing won the original award on May 13, 2011 to provide five aircraft as part of the Air Force’s fiscal 2010 C-17 requirement.

Work will be performed in Long Beach, Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 20, 2013. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
