Boeing Wins $370M Army Chinook Helicopter Contract

The U.S. Army has awarded Boeing (NYSE: BA) a $370 million contract for 14 CH-47F Chinook helicopters to support a foreign military sale through the U.S. Army, the company announced Wednesday.

Boeing said it will deliver seven helicopters to Australia and six to the United Arab Emirates under separate foreign military sales agreements. Boeing will deliver the U.S. Army one helicopter.

Boeing’s H-47 program has reached the midpoint of a multi-year contract for 191 Chinook aircraft. Boeing said the contract, worth $4.3 billion, was originally awarded in 2008.
