VT Group Solutions Unit Wins Potential $1.3B SPAWAR C4ISR Contract

VT Milcom, a solutions unit of VT Group, has won a potential $1.3 billion contract to install, operate and certify C4ISR systems for the U.S. Navy‘s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command.

The contract has a three-year base period with a maximum value of $843 million and one two-year option. If exercised, the option would put the maximum value at $1.3 billion.

VT Milcom will be responsible for installing and supporting systems at worldwide shore stations, surface ships and submarines.

“VT Milcom has served SPAWAR for more than 35 years and we look forward to continuing this partnership, ” said Walt Yourstone, president, VT Milcom.
