SAIC Inc. (NYSE: SAI) announced today it has been awarded a prime contract by the Defense Logistics Agency.
The single-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a potential value of $1 billion with a five-year base performance period and one two-year option.
The DLA provides supplies to the military services and supports the acquisition of equipment parts and other materials. Under the contract, SAIC will be responsible for supplying, managing and recycling land and aircraft tires used by the U.S. Armed Services and Foreign Military Sales customers.
