Lockheed Wins $4B to Deliver 30 F-35 Aircraft for Navy, Marines, Air Force

The U.S. Navy has awarded Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) aeronautics company a $4, 011, 919, 310 contract modification to manufacture and deliver 30 Low Rate Initial Production Lot V F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft for the Navy, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps.

A Defense Department announcement says the modification also calls for Lockheed to provide associated ancillary mission equipment and flight test instrumentation for those aircraft. Lockheed will also provide the United Kingdom with flight test instrumentation.

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
