BAE Systems’ Brian Sheridan to Head SpecTal Business

BAE Systems has tasked Brian Sheridan, vice president and deputy general for the company’s intelligence and security sector, to lead the Reston, Va.-based SpecTal business, according to an announcement today.

SpecTal, previously a part of L-1 Intelligence Services Group, provides government customers with security and intelligence consulting.

Sheridan joined BAE Systems in 2010, before which he managed projects at Bechtel Corp.

He served as the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict and worked as part of the CIA in the 1980s.
