AMERICAN SYSTEMS has released information on its position on the recently awarded U.S. General Services Administration federal agency telecommunications, network and communications Connections II contract vehicle.

The multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a ceiling value of $5 billion over a term of nine years and three months.

The company will compete for orders to provide government agencies’ equipment, building and campus infrastructure needs. Awardees will also support existing networks design customized client-specific solutions.

“This contract provides our customers an efficient avenue to achieve their mission-critical communications and IT requirements, ” said William C. Hoover, president and CEO of AMERICAN SYSTEMS. “We’re proud to continue our work solving the technical challenges faced by the federal government via the Connections II contract.”
