PAE Acquires Former Lockheed, Day & Zimmermann Aircraft Services JV; Mike Dignam Comments

PAE has completed its acquisition of Defense Support Services LLC, which was founded in 2004 as a joint venture between Lockheed Martin and Day & Zimmermann.

DS2 provides military aircraft and vehicle maintenance, logistics and base support services.

“We saw an opportunity to combine complementary service offerings, extend our geographic footprint and enhance our agility and cost-effectiveness, which are critical to our customers, ” said Mike Dignam,  PAE president.

“By incorporating DS2’s expertise in aviation maintenance and logistics with our existing capabilities, the combined organization will be able to provide its customers with a broader spectrum of services to meet their mission requirements, ” he added.
