Northrop Wins $124M DISA Award for Afghanistan, Iraq Operations

Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has won a $124 million contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency at Scott Air Force Base, including:

  • a $76 million first-year task order option under the encore II contract vehicle to perform services in Afghanistan.
  • a $48 million order for increased tasking in Afghanistan and for the provision of personnel for Iraqi counter-rocket, artillery and mortar sense-and-warn operations

“C-RAM continues to demonstrate its value on the battlefield saving lives, ” said Mike Twyman, vice president of integrated command, control, communications and intelligence systems for Northrop Grumman’s information systems business. “We are proud to continue our collaboration with the Army to bring ever-evolving force protection capabilities to those in harm’s way.”
