ManTech 3Q Profit Grows 10%; Pedersen Sees Future Growth from AMBIANCE Award, Cyber Acquisition

ManTech International Corp. (NASDAQ: MANT) has released its financial results for its third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011.

The company reported that it generated $734.6 million in revenue, a 12 percent increase over the third quarter of 2010.

It counted $34.5 million of that as net income, a 10 percent increase year-over-year.

The company said that revenues from organic operations grew 5 percent, largely due to its C4ISR, mobile communications and route clearance programs.

ManTech also reported diluted earnings per share of 94 cents, up 9 percent from the prior year period.

The company will be making a dividend payment of 42 cents per common share in December 2012.

“I am especially proud of the AMBIANCE award, which speaks to the government’s trust in ManTech to solve its most complex systems integration problems, in addition to several other critical new awards, ” said chairman and CEO George J. Pedersen. “Our $1.1 billion of bookings this quarter and our pending acquisition of Worldwide Information Network Systems, Inc. will greatly enhance our positioning going into fiscal year 2012 in the mission critical areas of information technology, intelligence, and cyber security.”
