Lockheed Wins $841M Award to Enhance Sensors on Air Force Sniper Pod

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) missiles and fire control business unit an $841.5 million firm-fixed-price contract to enhance sensors as part of hardware and software upgrades to the Sniper pod.

Lockheed will also provide:

  • associated host platform integration
  • technical manual and technical orders
  • repair data
  • studies and spares recapitalization
  • standup of organic depot repair requirements

Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
