Kratos Team Wins $43M SeaPort-E Order to Support SPAWAR C4I Office

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (NASDAQ: KTOS) announced today it is on a team that was awarded a five-year, single-award contract worth $43 million to support the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command.

Under the SeaPort–e delivery order, Kratos, in conjunction with Systems Technology Forum, ltd, will provide support to SPAWAR through systems and logistics engineering to help integrate the PMW/A 170 military and commercial communications and navigation systems.

The contract work will also include production management and installation, and it will support the Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence which is responsible for “managing acquisition programs and projects that cover all C4I disciplines: applications, networks, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems, ” according to the Navy’s website.
