HP Enterprise Services to Support Pentagon HR Data Center

The Defense Human Resources Activity has awarded HP Enterprise Services (NYSE: HPQ) an estimated $22, 638, 387 firm-fixed price requirements contract to provide user support for the Defense Manpower Data Center, the Pentagon announced Monday.

According to Fedstats, the DMDC maintains the Defense Department‘s largest archive of personnel, manpower and training data. It also conducts activities involving statistics, including a personnel survey program, an enlistment testing program supporting the screening of military applicants, and a client support program to provide statistical support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense.

Work is expected to be completed in November 2012 and the DHRA Procurement Support Office, Alexandria, Va., is the contracting activity.
