Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) has named Mike Shove as chief operating officer of its managed services sector, the company announced in a release today.
As COO, Shove will provide operational leadership throughout the organization, and will focus his efforts on meeting financial commitments, improving operational competitiveness and ensuring delivery of exceptional client service.
“Mike brings the right skill and expertise to guide MSS operations and the knowledge on delivering the ultimate client experience that will earn us the highest level of trust and loyalty with our clients, ” said Peter Allen, acting president of MSS. “I look forward to Mike’s success on delivering our commitments to clients, CSC, and our employees.”
Shove most recently served as president of CSC’s Asia group for more than four years. Prior to that, he served as president and managing director of CSC’s Australia and New Zealand business and has previously served as vice president of enterprise business solutions for CSC’s Australian group.
Shove has also worked for Digital Equipment Corp. and GE Capital for 16 years before joining CSC.
