SAIC Inc. (NYSE: SAI) has formed a partnership with McAfee to provide large enterprise cybersecurity solutions such as advanced threat detection for customers including the intelligence community and national governments.
SAIC said it will couple its CloudShield security products with McAfee’s security portfolio to access new markets and provide stronger solutions.
The offerings will aim to support CIOs and CISOs, according to Charles Beard, SAIC’s chief information officer and director for cyber security products and solutions.
“Our combined approach augments these historical investments with active threat intelligence and out-of-band, reprogrammable hardware platforms that intelligently adapt to anticipate, detect and remediate cyber-threats in sophisticated network infrastructures, ” Beard said.
