Lockheed Wins Close to $900M for C-5 Program Enhancements, Engineering

Lockheed Martin’s (NYSE: LMT) aeronautical systems operating unit has won close to $900 million in contract modifications for the C-5 reliability enhancement and re-engining program.

  • A $518, 909, 311 award to provide the material and fabricate the needs of 11 lot five REPR aircraft
  • A $159, 969, 912 award to provide long-lead items in advance of lot six production
  • A $126, 674, 272 award to install enhanced engines on seven lot 3 REPR aircraft
  • An $83, 501, 475 award to provide spare items required to meet the field needs of 11 lot five aircraft

Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity for the modifications.
