ICF International (NYSE: ICFI) has been awarded a potential $70 million contract to support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention‘s community transformation grant program.

ICF will design, implement and manage technical and training assistance for program grantees.

Contract work will help produce sustainable changes in environments, policies, infrastructures and programs. These changes will help prevent chronic diseases and reduce health disparities.

“This continues our work in the connection between health and surrounding environmental and social determinants, the conditions of those places where individuals live, work and play, ” said Jeanne Townend, executive vice president for ICF International. “ICF is honored to support the CTG program and its community-level efforts to reduce chronic diseases such as obesity, heart disease, and stroke.”
