Harris Names Alex Heidt SVP of IT Business Development

Harris Corp. (NYSE: HRS) has appointed Alex Heidt as senior vice president for IT business development, where he will report to IT president John Heller.

Heidt started with Harris in December 2010 as vice president of Air Force IT programs.

Prior to joining that, Heidt was vice president of Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) $450 million global mission solutions division, where he headed operations, finance and business development.

“Alex is a growth-focused leader with deep industry experience, gained through managing large-scale operations and business development programs, ” said Heller. “His leadership of our fast-developing Air Force programs business delivered strong growth and program performance, earning perfect scores on all program reviews.
