The U.S. Army has awarded General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) C4 systems business unit a $78 million award to develop, implement and maintain software for the Command Post of the Future System.
The award is a cost-plus-award-fee indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity.
Completion of the project is expected in September 2013.
